Who is App8 built for?
Enterprise foodservice operators running catering, K-12, and high-volume venue programs across many sites. It is not built for single-location independents.
What is the difference between App8 and Rally?
App8 is the company and the operating platform. Rally Catering, Rally Schools, and Rally Eats are App8’s product line, one surface for each operation you run.
Do you charge commissions on orders?
No. App8 runs on a platform subscription, not a cut of sales. Order revenue stays yours, and the platform fee is fixed, so finance can plan around it. App8 is a first-party platform you control, not a marketplace.
How does App8 fit the systems we already run?
Workflow-first. Our enterprise enablement team works backwards from how your sites run and builds the connections your process needs, into the systems you already use, like JD Edwards, FreedomPay, and GiveX. No connector for a system yet? The team builds one.
Can we start with a few sites and expand later?
Yes. Most operators go live on a handful of sites on the standard platform, prove the model, then scale across locations and add deeper integrations as they grow.
How is payment and card data secured?
App8 is PCI DSS Level 1 certified, the strictest card-industry security standard, with data encrypted in transit and role-based access across multi-site teams. Security documentation is available on request.
What does getting started involve?
A proven, enterprise-grade methodology. App8 turns your existing menus, rules, account structures, and workflows into a live rollout, scaled across your sites and built around your timelines, processes, and systems.
Do you support French and Quebec operations?
Yes. App8 operates across the United States and Canada, with Quebec as its own commercial context. The platform and support work in French, and we handle Canadian and Quebec tax.
